Fall Ball 2026 - Fall 2026

Fall 2026 Softball registration is now open. Fall Softball is intended to be a recreational season for player’s league age 4-14. This is a great opportunity to continue to develop softball skills and/or try out a higher division to advance softball skills.

We will be registering for 6u (Tee Ball, Co-ed), 8u, 10u, 12u, 14u. Depending on enrollment numbers there is the potential of certain divisions participating in inter-league with other San Diego Softball Leagues/Associations.

Since there are no boundary restrictions for softball there is no address verification. All girls, regardless of address, ages 4-14 are encouraged to register. The IBGS will hold evaluations to determine players’ placement on teams to ensure that all teams are balanced in experience. We will do our best to honor Manager and protection requests, but cannot guarantee all requests can be accommodated.

It's Softball Time!!

The Imperial Beach Girls Softball league was established in 1980 as a recreational fastpitch softball league for girls between the ages of 4 - 16. In 1980, the Imperial Beach Girls Softball league was run and operated by the Imperial Beach Little League through a partnership with Bobby Sox Softball. In 1994, the Imperial Beach Girls Softball League separated from Bobby Sox Softball and the Imperial Beach Little League. The league formed a new partnership with the Boys and Girls Club and The Amateur Softball Association (ASA) which was run by Jim Kotz. Imperial Beach Girls Softball was associated with the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) until 2016 when the USA Softball League merged with ASA. Focusing on the USA Softball brand better reflects the legacy that ASA/USA Softball has established over its 80 years as the leader in the sport of softball.
